Danny and Henry,
THANK YOU FOR TAKING THE TIME TO MAKE THE SITUATION CLEAR FOR US. It is truly appreciated.
I want to say again to Danny that I believe that you did everything right, and congratulations for representing the league well!
I think that the good thing that hopefully may come about is that we are using the website to OPEN COMMUNICATIONS so that we may make the league better and stronger.
Perhaps we could make a new link on the website, accessible only to league members, so that all this information, very uninteresting to many, can be accessible and MADE CLEAR to all the teams and players, so that we can help out our coaches if required.
Jorge did a tremendous job as a first year coach in my opinion, but he was still just a first year coach in one of the most competitive leagues in the country.
Danny and Henry.....we all just want to play ball.....thanks for the chance to do so!

I Thank Henry and Danny for clearing the topic so the Stars would not feel they had been given the short end. I did send in the roster and was never told it would be illegal for lateness. If that were the case I would not have spent 5 hours before a game calling my players to confirm their home addresses. Everything is Squashed.
This Teaneck team was what i had wanted for a long time. I want to thank everyone involved in excepting the Stars into the league. I also want to thank the teams which allowed us to use their field for our home games.
I was very upset when rumors were going around and no one was talking about Ramapo Valley's invitation to the tournament. So as any coach would do I defended my team and myself. I have not a single regret for my first season running the Teaneck Stars. I wanted to field a team and set my goals small. The Teaneck Stars were the ones who made it possible to beat the top teams in the nation and make it far in our league tournament. I will also like to thank my dad who I believe missed only one game and always brought a cooler for the Stars.
I agree with Scott about the NCAA Style Tournament, which I wrote down on a pad at our coaches meeting as being the style of we would use. I don't know why we voted on it if our vote meant nothing, but I do remeber raising my arm for it. This kind of situation made me react the way I did over the NABF tournament.
Danny congrats on your invitation and to your players. I threw about 300 hours of BP to 1/3 of your starting lineup at Rutgers Newark and never thought they would be repaying by hitting balls onto the train tracks in Teaneck. LOL. Ed thank you for helping me recruit. Mike Dibiase will go down in history with Brain Taylor ,Yankees #1 pick. LOL. You made up with it though by getting Jesse Hill and his perfect, I mean no hitter. Which is the first one I have every been involved in.
I had a great time and will do again next year.

Jorge, we did run a NCAA Style Tournament, the vote was on OUR Tournament only, not the Regionals. Henry

JORGE, DON'T EVER USE DIBIASE AND BRYAN TAYLOR IN THE SAME SENTENCE!! DIBIASE IS MORE LIKE, HMMMM, LET'S SEE....HOW ABOUT THE KID ON THE PLAYGROUND WHO DOESN'T GET PICKED TO PLAY THEN SAYS, "I'M TAKING MY BALL AND GOING HOME!" ONE SUGGESTION FOR NEXT SEASON, KEEP THAT BALD, OLD, CATCHER, OF, DH STEWART OUT OF THE 4 SPOT IN THE LINEUP, HE KILLED YOU THERE!!! F U STEW!! ;D DID I REALLY SEE A POST BY KHALIL TALKING ABOUT NEXT YEAR ALREADY??? DO YOU GIVE SENIOR CITIZENS A DISCOUNT ON TEAM FEE? IS BOB TRYING TO BE THE 1ST PLAYER IN LEAGUE HISTORY TO PLAY IN 5 DECADES? HE ALREADY HAS THE 70'S, 80'S, 90'S AND 00'S...NEXT UP, 10'S...PLAYING FOR RICK LUTZ'S KIDS ON HACKENSACK? GREAT JOB THIS SEASON BY YOU JORGE. 1ST YEAR IS ALWAYS A ROUGH ONE, EVEN WITH ALOT OF LEAGUE VETERANS AND A FOSSIL PITCHER AND CATCHER! ED
