THE ONLY PROBLEM I SEE WITH A PRESEASON TOURNEY WITH OUR LEAGUE IS, ONLY 3 OR 4 TEAMS WILL SAY THEY CAN FIELD A TEAM WITHOUT ALL THEIR COLLEGE GUYS. SO SCOTT, HOW ABOUT A PRESEASON, LET'S SAY 1ST 2 WEEK'S OF MAY, TOURNEY LIKE THE ONE YOU RAN IN HACKENSACK. PROBABLY BE JUST 2 OR 3 TEAMS FROM OUR LEAGUE, THEN GET 5 OR 6 FROM OUT OF STATE? I GOT A FEW #'S FROM THE NABF TOURNEY OF TEAMS THAT WANT TO PLAY, ANYTIME ,ANYWHERE. SHIT, THE TEAM FROM LONG ISLAND WE PLAYED PLAYS A 100 GAME SEASON! THEY START IN JANUARY AND GO TO OCTOBER!
I THINK THIS CAN WORK. COUNT R.V. IN IF YOU THINK WE CAN MAKE THIS HAPPEN FARBS. WOULD BE ANOTHER GREAT WAY TO KICK OFF OUR SEASON AND GET OUR LEAGUE MORE RESPECT AROUND THE COUNTRY.

As for Pre Season...there are some very solid quality teams in the Brunswick Men's that would be willing to go in. They play 33 games and start in the second week of May, so it would be perfect for them.

John,
After seeing the quality that came up from south jersey this summer or lack of it that won't happen.
I will get 6 nationally ranked teams to come here. Ones with longsatnding reputations as top tier teams like I got to come to this years tourney. I already have the 6 teams in mind that could join Hack and Rv in such a tourney. Rick

Don't base your views of baseball down here by what the Sayreville Giants brought to your tournament. If you guys do some sort of tourney in the pre-season the New Brunswick Pirates would be very interested. If you are not sure of who we are or if we are any good, you can ask your boy Higs. Also KT and some guys from your league saw some of our players in the fall league we played in last year.
