Cliffside Park if u ask me was well overrated this year. They got lucky enough to become the 2nd seed once again behind Hackensack which i believe is an outstanding ballclub. The definition of team is equal to what Hackensack brings night in and night out. Hackensack wins ball games because they manufacture, do the right things at the right times, Hit, Pitch, Field and also have a core of coaches that seem to handle things so professionally. Cliffside Park on the other hand: Doesn't have any of that, and if they did, they still wouldnt be able to Lace or Shine Hackensacks shoes. The Line-up Hackensack presents everyday is as solid as can be with the exception of Position Player/DH Mark Houser(the only hole). Cliffside Park has atleast 4 or 5 holes in their line-up which is probably the unanimous reason they are out so soon. Im sure their hopes were up entering this years 2005 showdown but sorry folks you just couldnt get it done. I predict Hackensack to Ruthlessly run through this tournament with their eyes closed like 95% of this league thought they would. Scott Farber, Ricky Lutz, John D., Mike L., Mark DeMenna, Nick Feola, Luca P, and the guys from Bloomfield......Best of Luck

1st of all, Marc Houser is 4 for 7 with a double an an RBI in the 3 playoff games Hackensack had so far. If that is what you call a hole, then I would bet that most of the other teams in the League would like to have such a hole on their team.
As far as Cliffside Park goes, they have an outstanding team. I saw several of the games that they played this season including the 1st game of a doubleheader against Hackensack. They made 5 doubleplays in that game and one of the best catches I ever saw an outfielder make by their centerfielder Robert Biagiotti Jr.
As far as their Manager Robert Biagiotti Sr. and coach John Pimpinella, they have showed me nothing but class in the two years that they have been in our League. When they lost to Jersey City, in what I called the Biggest Upset I have seen in this League since I became involved, Bob just said in his gentlemenly way "they beat us tonight because they were the better team." I heard no sour grapes from either of them, that my friend is what I call "CLASS."

Show me the high rankings that the Cp Reds recieved. The only ranking was second in this league which came from us walking through this league all year just as Hacky did. Everyone knows Hacky,Cp, and RV are the best teams in this league. Next year 4 teams should make playoffs and both rounds 3 game series.

Guys,
I do not know who is F-ing around, but I know this...we are 11 wins away from winning a national championship.
This very well may be the best summer league team that I have EVER been a part of.
Marc Houser is no hole in the lineup.
IF we are going to win this, we are going to have to do it together.
21 players and 3 coaches.
No more no less.
For us to win, everyone is going to have to check their individual attitudes at the front door, or do not enter.
Marc, as much as Johhny D, Butchie, lutz or Wass EtAl...is important as the next guy.
We will never do this apart...so we had better do this together or we are all wasting our time.
