ok so i had a meeting with my team and i told them all to get accounts and get active on here to bring some life here. The teams we got this year: Hackensack, Jersey City Brewers, Belleville Blue Jays, Ramapo Valley, Cards, Stars, Newark Bandits, NJ Spartans, Wayne, and the Reds right? Good luck to all the teams.. And if anyone wants to play some scrimmages, no umps, just for fun and to get back in shape in the beginning of May, i might be able to field 8-10 guys, since some of my guys play in college, but I would like to get some things rolling to get back into playing shape.

Question for you Mr. Caruso, How does Belleville have 2 teams in 2009 when in 2008 you folks struggled to field 1 team?  |

Two completely different teams. See my post in the previous thread. The other team will be BP for you guys. Caruso will do a good job taking over the Jays. The guys who were responsible for alot of the Jays problems last year will be on the Spartans. Dave Caruso went out of his way to secure more reliable players hopefully for the Jays.
I know Belleville has struggled and the odds are against both teams this year for the same reasons as in the past. If either team has a degree of success it will be caruso and the Jays.

thanks for the shoot of confidence bruce... much appreciated. And yes, Demenna, the Spartans are completely different from me. I have nothing to do with them and they have nothing to do with us. The Spartans are comprised of the players that I either did not want or chose to follow the rest. I have secured a better roster, more reliable players, and most likely more competitive players. If you have questions for the Spartans, direct them to their coaches, because I do not even know anything about them. I will be able to field a team at every game, no doubt.

I'm glad to hear the Blue Jays are in good hands... It does sound like that there is some dislike for the Spartans... can't wait to see who wins the season series..
