In light of Jorge's new coaching gig, the Teaneck Stars will be out of the league in 2009. Hence, I am in need of a team.
I am a 12-year league vet and batted .397 with a .990 OPS last season. Made only two errors all season and can play both 2B and SS (although most of my experience is at 2B). I can also still run a little; not bad for an old fart.
I am also an assistant coach at Bergen Community College and can bring a good player or two with me to fill a hole, if needed.
Any interested teams can email me at derek.rosenfeld@gmail.com or call me at (201) 218-7182.
Hope to hear from...someone. Derek Rosenfeld

Derek, As I have stated, I will not be running the Belleville Blue Jays, but I am sure the guys I left in charge would like to talk to you. They are looking for veteran players because there are alot of young guys. the team needs, and is getting a face lift. I passed them your number. Hope it works out. Bruce

I left some of the players in charge. I just dont have the desire to put up with the money collecting, lack of dedication, etc. There may be 2 Belleville teams this year. The new team has absolutely nothing to do with me. Its a bunch of castoffs from my team who couldn't even cut it with us. Basically they will be just another punching bag for the league.
