I dont know if I can blame people who jump ship on a 1-12 team or not. I look at being on a team like this not as a failure but as a learning experience. The best out there all know how to fail and still hold their heads up high and persevere through their struggles to come out on top. It just goes to show that when putting a team together a coach or GM must look at character before talent and find that balanced, committed team. Its a shame for the guys who have put forth everything they have when somebody jumps ship and tells them they are terrible instead of stepping up and saying "hey Im part of why we struggled now let me pick up my team." The 8 guys other than me who did show up for a doubleheader against Franklin Lakes yesterday will surely be on my roster next year. Otherwise the rest of the league has its pick of unrestricted free agent vags. I had to start a player who got hurt in the 1st game for game 2 until another member of my roster showed in the 3rd inning. I also had 3 pitchers. So to jump ship on this team only makes that player a part of what has been the problem this year. THIS IS THE BIGGEST PROBLEM WITH SUMMER BASEBALL, MAYBE ITS JUST ME BUT I USED TO PLAY BASEBALL WITH GUYS WHO GAVE A SHIT AND PLAYED HARD! I had a shore house and drove up everyday to play baseball. The only commitment these kids know is the commitment to the jersey shore and chasing vag. I hope that there are more players out there that dont resemble the primadonnas I ve had to deal with in my two years. If there are i will find them and bring them to Belleville to compete like men.
