We are not in the league Bobby. If you notice their are other Troasts on the roster of RV as well. It's like a shuttle that runs between Ramapo and Hack. See you guys Wed. .. Are you pitching? Rick

First of all, it takes a real man to insult someone without identifying themselves. I'm very impressed. Do you cover your face when you kick your dog as well?
Second, I know exactly what Rick has stated over the years. We have played against each other for many years.
It is my opinion that this league is in serious trouble and may not survive the next couple of years. I think it would be a damn shame for this league to fold, after so many years of great history. Losing one of the great franchises this year does nothing but weaken the league as a whole.
We are all in agreement that the tiebreakers in pool play are ridiculous. Tournaments should always be decided on the field. I do not think that anyone is arguing that point.
Since this league is affiliated with the AABC and NABF, why doesn't the champion pick which tournament they want to go to, and the runner up goes to the other?
Hackensack would still be able to play independant games, as well as compete in the league. This would make North Jersey baseball better, which is what everyone should care about.

Seriously Bob,
I am anti AABC. And not just the pool play, tiebreaker crap. It's also the World Series where the undefeated team gets no benefit for being undefeated. The Canton Stallions have the same gripe. My team wanted to go NABF. As far as me and some of my teammates on RV. I have nothing against the teams in the league for being in the league, its their choice. So me playing for anyone in the league isn't going against my anti-AABC stance. Lastly I don't want the league to fold but it would be better served dissolving all the leagues in North Jersey and forming 1 big league with all new VOTED on leadership and league rules. You guys should speak about that at your next, I mean 1st league meeting of 2006 where no team really has any say... Rick

Rick....I hear what you're saying.....it's just a damn shame that 10 years ago.....the Met League AND the North Jersey Majors were thriving......even with independant ball.
