ONE OF MY FAVORITE BALL PLAYERS GROWING UP. NEVER FORGET HIS WORLS SERIES HR IN GAME 6, AND NEVER FORGET HIS CATCH AT THE METRODOME WHEN THEY STILL HAD THE PLEXI-GLASS ON THE OUTFIELD WALL. ALL 5'8" OF HIM JUMPING LIKE 10 FEET IN THE AIR. LOVED TO WATCH HIM PLAY. 44 YEARS OLD!!!! WAY TOO f**k!ING YOUNG!!! R.I.P. KIRBY PUCKETT!

Nobody climbed the wall like Kirby. The man took a pay cut to have a winner. As a huge Yankee fan that I was in the 80's there was no one I feared most. Every ball to center was in Kirby's glove. Why Canseco is still here and Kirby gone? Only the good die young. "Touch them all Kirby Puckett!!!" RIP.

Kirby Puckett - The man whose smile could light up a room.
He was the consummate baseball professional.
