THE NIGHTMARE IS FINALLY OVER
The long 2005 season is finally at an end. The 2 wins for the Black Sox (by forfeit by the way) and the 16 losses were mainly due to poor team chemistry, lack of skill and ability on the team (mostly hitting), and the sorry bumbs who quit the team throughout the season.
Special thanks go to Scottie Vaccaro, Robert Vaccaro, Billy Lembo & Dan Blanke for being the only real men on the team to complete the entire season. As for the rest of you scrubs that quit the team during the season or were too lazy to finish the season.....the team failed because of you losers...that never showed to practice, that never came to games, that had no committment to the team or the sport of baseball whatsoever, and that have no integrity. Good luck with life...the irresponsibililty and lack of integrity you showed this year tells me a lot about how you losers live your life.

TEAM AWARDS
MVP - Nobody. With a 2-16 record no one on the team deserves this award.
CY YOUNG- Luis Fermin - although he was only able to pitch in a few games due to the obligation to his law enforcement career, Fermin was the only player on the team that can start on the mound for us and change the whole perspective of the Black Sox.
GOLDEN GLOVE - Scottie Vaccaro - This is the first time the manager gave himself an award. Scottie played terrific in centerfield and also filled in and excelled in other positions in emergencies throughout the season such as catcher, first base, third base and all outfield positions.
IRON HORSE - Scottie Vaccaro, Robert Vaccaro, Billy Lembo & Dan Blanke - showed to every game. Lembo & Blanke travelled from the Raritan Valley all season and never complained. Also Billy was running a pizzeria down there, and still found ways to come to every game.
MOST OVERRATED PLAYER- Roger Gutierrez - looked fancy at shortstop...which didn't make the many errors he made there this season look that bad. Gutierrez was worse at the plate. As our #3 hitter, Gutierrez had a sweet swing but still struck out most of his at-bats. On a positive note, Roger pitched pretty well for us for the limited amount of innings he had this year.
MSP (Most Sorriest Player) - Javier Duran - Duran quit the team after four games. He never got a hit in those games and struck out 95% of his at-bats. Duran was a catcher and the worse fielder on the team. He had a great arm, too bad his throws to second base always ended up in the centerfielder's glove.
MSP AWARD II - Roger Gutierrez, Javier Duran & Myung Kang. Duran was so bad he gets this award twice. These three scrubs were the first to quit the team and were overall the worst players. Kang pitched great in his first start and he was anticipated on being the ace...since his first start Kang never completed a full inning again. When these scrubs left, the Black Sox were able to recruit better players to take their place and the games became more competitive although they still lost.
